Reaching the Eden Project on foot from St Austell (the largest
near town) is a six mile walk. You'll see some of the
surrounding countryside and get a �3.00 reduction in the entrance
price (ask in the reception building) There are two steep hills
but nothing an able bodied person cannot cope with.

The Eden Project is on the National Cycle Network so getting
there is easy. The Clay Trails which go near the Eden Project are
part of the Cornish Way and are suitable for bicycles.

Two bus companies operate services from St Austell to the Eden
Project. Truronian also operate a service from Falmouth via Truro in

St Austell is Cornwall's busiest railway station so plenty of
trains go direct from London, Cardiff and the North. St Austell
station is about 5� miles from the Eden Project and regular bus
