Start in Fore Street with main shops on your right (Boots etc). Continue up Fore Street until you reach the Queens Head pub on the left hand. Turn left on to North Street and take the first left hand into Tremena Road. When the road bears round to to the right into Tremena Gardens, head onto the Clay Trail which is straight ahead. Continue along the Clay Trail until it forks to the left and right, you need to take the right hand fork. Cross a small lane and continue along the trail up the steep hill towards Scredda. Continue on the trail until you reach the car park at Scredda. Just before the car park there is a viewing area of the clay pit. Cross the A391 and follow the trail round the Baal Pit and then downwards to the little village of Trethurgy. When you reach the a road, turn right onto it then take the first left followed by the first right into Chapel Lane. You will soon see a sign post for the Eden Project which takes you left from the road onto a trail again. When you come to a clearing follow the trail to right, down through the fields and then to the car park. There are signs here for walkers to the main entrance of the Eden Project. |
