The premier gardening information source
GardenAction have reviewed World's End garden centre near
Aylesbury from a totally independent view. World's End garden centre is a
sprawling set of buildings arranged in a straight line. You enter one building
then exit it outside and into the next building. Alongside the buildings
is the plant sales area. This arrangement didn't particularly suit us
because navigating round the garden centre felt like going round
different shops. There was no help desk which was surprising and
        disappointing for a large
garden centre. There was also a distinct lack of signs to the different
departments in World's End. The lack of signs make finding your way
around this long and thin garden centre a bit confusing. The toilets were also difficult to find, we
        had to ask. PLANTS

We looked for signs of guarantees on hardy plants but none was
advertised. Disappointing for a garden centre of this size. PRICES

The standard of the plants was good in general, they
looked healthy and well-watered. A few plants  such as the
camellias did show signs of frost damage to the flowers. There were
some signs to indicate where different types of plants could be
found but much of it relied on alphabetic placement. No attempt had
been made to group plants by size, or shade etc.

The price of our shopping basket was average at World's End. At the time
of our visit there were some special offers, for example 2 for the price
of one for the 3.5kg Growmore
