The outdoor plants area at Lady Green garden centre is very extensive. This has allowed them to offer a superb range of plants. Not only are they in exceptional condition but there are several areas where they specialsie.

Immense thought and skill has gone into the design of the plants area. It feels like you are walking through someone's garden. Windy paths lead you  through the huge variety of plants. Bridges and large ponds break up the various areas. No rigid criss-cross of paths here, definitely not. This all goes to make the experience of plant shopping immensely pleasurable. It's worth a wander round even if you have no intention of buying anything.

With such a large area it's essential that the signs are good. And at this garden centre they are excellent. You are directed around by large but unobtrusive pointers and when you have found a particular plant group, the varieties are in alphabetic order.

The outside area has an imposing help centre with lots of useful reference material. The staff are also very knowledgeable.
