The premier gardening information source
The size of this garden centre would not normally warrant a cafe, so this one is really a tea /
coffee and cakes only version. They do serve a few toasties as well and this is what we ordered.
The toastie and the cakes were fine for a small quality, more than edible. The service was both
efficient and pleasant.
The interior of the cafe was basic but clean. It was fitted out with real wood
tables and chairs which made it look homely and reasonably attractive. There was an
outdoor seating area for sunny days. Prices were about average but the large coffee
at 1.49 represented good value.
HOUSE PLANTS
Some much larger garden centres almost ignore house plants so we were pleased to
see a reasonable selection on offer at this garden centre.
Nothing grand, but at least a good attempt had been made. INDOOR SALES AREA
The indoor sales area stocked a reasonable range of garden
accessories. Local gardeners would find most of their gardening needs satisfied
here. The gift parts of the indoor sales area was poor but this is
more than likely due to the recent change of ownership. We need to revisit in a year
or so to see how they refurbished the area. DISABLED FACILITIES TOILETS CAR PARKING The address is: Our sat nav directed us there based on the road and town name A map can be found
here The cafe is basic but, at the moment, it presents itself as an honest coffee
/ tea and cakes cafe. It does this job well. If you are local to Banbury then we recommend this town centre garden
centre. It is centrally located and the staff are friendly. COMMENTS
