Garden Centre Reviews
This is a totally independent GardenAction opinion of
Clifton Nurseries in the London area. Click any
picture to enlarge it. PLANTS AREA
The partially covered outdoor plants area has an interesting layout and
is crammed full of plants. There is an especially good range of topiary and large
feature plants, many grown for pots.
All the plants were in good condition with average prices for this part of London. INDOOR SALES AREA
WATER FEATURES INDOOR PLANTS SPECIALITIES TOILETS CAFE
The indoor cafe at Clifton Nurseries seats about twenty with more seating
outside (see right hand picture) for warm days. Unusually for a garden centre cafe,
everything, including a simple coffee, is served to your table. Both the indoor and
outdoor seating areas are very pleasant. There is a good range of main meals,
including a rather exotic wild boar sausage based meal. But then again, a boar is a
pig and pig is pork so pork sausages are not that exotic!
The main meals come in at 7 to 8 which is not a bad price considering the
quality of the meals. They also serve a "brunch" menu at this cafe and the prices range from
2.50 to 7.00. We were particularly taken by the eggs Benedict, a dish that is not offered
often enough. CAR PARKING DIRECTIONS AND CONTACT Tel: 0207 289 6851 The nearest tube station is Warwick Avenue (Bakerloo line) DISABLED ACCESS OPENING HOURS SUMMARY STAR RATINGS

There are several water features to be found at Clifton Nurseries.
The range of indoor plants is unusually large for a small garden centre. The plants were
very healthy looking and the prices competitive.
Landscaping and garden maintenance services are offered.
None that we saw.
There is no on site car parking and at busy times on road parking is very limited.

All in all, for a central London garden centre, we thought they had a good balance of
plants, garden accessories and cafe. The houseplants were also particularly impressive. We
fully recommend this garden centre.
