Established for over 20 years, Bradmore garden centre has gradually grown over the years to become a fully fledged garden centre. The majority of growth however has been in the indoor sales area rather than the plants. We review them.

PLANTS AREA

The outdoor plants area is very basic in design with no pretensions. This is a nursery style plants area with some plants simply on the floor whilst others are on basic benches.
Whilst there is no advertised hardy plant guarantee the quality of the plants overall was good. There was a reasonable range of plants but not as much as you would expect from the garden centre size.

INDOOR SALES AREA

The indoor sales area at Bradmore Garden Centre is larger than first impressions lead you to believe because there are several sections to it. They have an excellent range of indoor and outdoor garden furniture.

As the picture on the left illustrates, they also have an unusually large range of garden machinery. From small lawnmowers to large sit on models, they have the lot.

Bradmore Garden Centre also stock a good range of garden accessories, cards, gifts, barbecues and the like.

CAFE

The cafe is stuck in the main sales area, it would certainly benefit from being partitioned off. The layout and decor is basic but they serve reasonably good home cooked food offering good value.

Main meals are �6.10, sandwiches �3 and toasties at �3.29. There is a choice of seating indoors and outside, the outside area being the best of the two.

AQUATICS
We saw none but noticed one being advertised at the entrance. We checked later on the Bradmore Garden Centre website but none was mentioned there. Maybe you know if they have an aquatics centre or not? Tell us using the comments section at the end of this article.

SUMMARY
A respectable garden centre serving the local community well. There could have been a larger selection of plants. The cafe served reasonable food at good prices but was let down by the decor and position.
