Hardy: Fully hardy
Height: 3 metres (10ft)
Flowers: RHS Award of Garden Merit. Bred by Moser
of Versailles, France, 1897. Lots of large (15cm / 6in)
pale mauve pink flowers (petals have reddish pink center
stripes) with purplish brown anthers cover the
Nelly Moser clematis in late
spring/early summer. A second flush of flowers often occurs in late summer.
Leaves: Lightish green
Position: Full sun or semi-shade.

Clematis 'Lady Londesborough'
Hardy: Fully hardy
Height: 2 metres (6ft)
Flowers: Bred in 1869, the large flowers of pale pink-mauve fade to
silvery-mauve as the flower matures. Flowers late spring to
early summer and again in late summer
Flower size 15cm (6in).
Leaves: Mid-green
Position: Full sun or semi-shade.

Hardy: Fully hardy
Height: 2 metres (6ft)
Flowers: Large flowers of royal blue paling to
Wedgwood blue as the flower matures. When the flowers die there
are wispy light green seed heads. A strong grower with a long
flowering period. Flowers early to late summer.
Leaves: Lightish green
Position: Full sun or semi-shade.

Clematis 'W. E. Gladstone'
Hardy: Fully hardy
Height: 3 metres (10ft)
Flowers: Raised by Charles Noble of Sunningdale in
1881 and named after the then Prime minister. Very large clear
blue flowers (25cm / 10in) are produced in small numbers between
mid June to mid September.
Leaves: Mid-green
Position: Full sun or semi-shade.
